REMCs promote emergency preparedness and planning for all hazards that may affect communities in their region. REMCs coordinate emergency planning and preparedness activities to improve their regions ability to prepare for, respond to, and recover from all disasters.
The BC REMC serves as a forum for collaboration among EMDs, fire departments, law enforcement agencies, rescue squads, town officials, hospitals, schools, private industries, human service organizations, animal health & welfare professionals, local businesses, public safety organizations, and serves as a resource for those entities. BC REMC meetings are open to the public - all are welcome to attend. |
