Notice of Public Hearing - December 16, 2024

The Vermont Department of Public Service (“Department”) invites the public to a hearing to provide input on the Bennington County Regional Commission’s Regional Plan. The plan is available for review on the Department’s website at http://publicservice.vermont.gov/. The BCRC is seeking a certification from the Department that the plan complies with energy planning requirements set forth in statute.

RFQ: Project Development Services

BCRC is seeking qualified contractors to provide project development services to municipalities as part of the Municipal Energy Resilience Program (MERP). Responses are due October 11th 5pm EST.

Regional Housing Bylaw Survey

BCRC's Regional Housing Bylaw Survey is now available to view. The survey includes municipal analyses and recommendations to increase opportunities for housing development. Click here to view the survey report.

Village of Manchester Land Use & Connectivity Study
BCRC is assisting the Village of Manchester on a planning study to assess reuse potential of several sites and connectivity improvements through the Village's
central intersection.

Vermont Arts Council Cultural Facilities Grant

Cultural Facilities grants award up to $30,000 to Vermont nonprofit organizations and municipalities to enhance, create, or expand the capacity of an existing building to provide cultural activities for the public. Projects such as wiring, heating, adding ADA accessibility features (e.g. elevators, lifts, assistive listening systems, ramps, and bathrooms), lighting, and stage improvements are eligible.
