The BCRC provides direct support to the Bennington County Solid Waste Alliance (BCSWA). The mission of the BCSWA is to reduce the amount of waste disposed of in landfills, incinerators, or similar means by reducing the amount of waste generated, conserving resources, and promoting recycling and reuse. The BCSWA also oversees development and implementation of a multi-town solid waste implementation plan.
