The Bennington County Food System Asset Map is a project of the Center for the Advancement of Public Action at Bennington College in collaboration with the Bennington County Regional Commission and Big Sky Education. The project was funded through a three-year grant from the Andrew W. Mellon Foundation to Bennington College to address food insecurity in Bennington County. This Asset Map was created by research at The Center for the Advancement of Public Action by the following: Shira Kol, Ben Hall and group tutorial, Tatiana Abatemarco and the Understanding Food Insecurity Class, and the AmeriCorps VISTA at BCRC. This map provides comprehensive information on the various components of the food system in the county from production (farms) to waste management. If you have questions or feedback about this project, please complete the contact form at the bottom of the map, or email BenningtonAssetMap@gmail.com.
